Thanks for the great observations. The Tasters Series was created as a way to break down all barriers, perceived or otherwise between, hosts, consumers, makers and get together safely and drink great coffee.

I was unable to make the first Wellington one and I know Logan would have rocked it. the second one at Frank’s was perfect, welcoming, some crazy brews on the table and fun good times with some people who had never even been to Frank’s, an inspired cafe manager from Christchurch, some phd students, roasters, young coffee people working all over the city in various places.

I loved it and were working so hard to break down the “snobby” barriers, starting with myself.

Who knows, maybe the next one will feature sustainable nz roasted coffee pods xxx
